Hemos hecho dos lineas rojas que indican la zona donde quitaremos la corteza. La linea superior indica donde naceràn las raices y la inferior la parte inferior del pelado de corteza.
We have made two red lines to indicate the zone where we will clear the bark. The superior line indicates where we will create roots and the lower line indicates the the inferior part of the bare bark.

With a very sharp knife we first mark the cut heavily following the two red lines and after we pull out the bark between the two red lines. |

Los alambres que estan debajo del contenedor se doblan hacia arriba y hacia el interior de este para que quede firme. Ademàs se coloca un alambre adicional alrededor del contenedor para que este no se deforme.
Both ends of the underneath wire are bended upwards and then into the container. An additional wire is placed around the container to avoid deformation of it.

El siguiente paso es colocar spagnum-moss en el interior del contenedor. Se puede tambièn usar en vez de spagnum-moss, sustrato de bonsai. En este caso recominedo colocar una capa de spagnum-moss sobre el sustrato para evitar deshidrataciòn.
The following step is to fill the container with sphagnum-moss. A variation to this procedure is to replace the sphagnum-moss with bonsai soil. In this case I recommend to put a layer of sphagnum-moss on top of the bonsai soil to avoid dehydration. |
