A few things you should know even if you aren't a Vampyre. First is that a "Vampyre" is a real Vampyre, one in the living flesh, like me. Where as, a "vampire" is the same as Bram Stoker's Dracula and Anne Rice's Louis de Point du Lac, Lestat, Marius, and Akasha. To have it in that spelling is telling you that is it a character. Most people do not know that there is a difference. You must be careful not to look at people different if you expect them to be a Vampyre. Most likely they aren't a Vampyre if you think they are, we are all very good at hiding those aspects of our lives. Next, if one of your friends confides in you that he or she is a Vampyre then do not be scared, be honered. This friend has just opened up to you on a whole new level, and they have trusted you with their biggest secret that they have. Also, you need to know that there are different types of Vampyres. Your most common and stereotypical Vampyre is what is called a Sanguine Vampyre. These are the Vampyres who feed by drinking the blood of a living animal, usually preferred to be a human but doesn't have to be. There is also what is called a Psychic Vampyre or a psy-vamp for short. These Vampyres feed on psychic energy of others, called prana. Usually drawn in through the eyes of their victim in eye-contact, but can also be drawn from contact in a time when a lot of energy is released, as in during sex. These Vampyres are very affective because the person being drained has no awareness of it. The last is an Elemental Vampire, these feed off of nature.
So if you are not a Vampyre and you know, one you should be open minded. Try to see if you could be a donor to them. Most Vampyres dont drink more than about two shot glasses worth of blood when they feed. That is less than you would donate to a blood drive. Usually a Vampyre is very skilled at this process and it should be a fun time for both the donor and the Vampyre. A modern Vampyre doesn't bite people either. They will usually use a Razor blade, or a fingersleeve. A fingersleeve looks like a silversmith worded a thimble with a needle on it. All I can leave you with is to be open to the idea of some thing new, because most of the time it is highly erotic for the donor, not just the Vampyre. So make sure you are close with them before it.
