Normal, after hours attire: A black vest, tucked into his baggy black combats that cover his black trainers. A long, white hooded cloak that hangs loosely over his shoulders held together by a thin gold chain.
Battle attire: A green tunic with the sleeves rolled half way up to his elbow and a pair of black gloves. The tunic is tucked under a black belt, clipped together with a large gold fastening, hanging over his loosely fitting green trousers that tuck into his black leather boots.
Extras: Tattoo of a dragon on his upper right arm.
Other stuff: Rune always carries his 6 foot staff, which he made himself at the age of 6. It is made from a mysterious piece of solid, black wood and seems to enhance many of the magical properties he wields. Keeps a pair of thin, frame-less reading glasses in a small black case, usually placed in on of his pockets.
General physical: Rune stands tall, keeping his posture at all times. He is slim, but surprisingly muscular for a sorcerer, probably down to training with his sister. Some would call him handsome, although he usually keeps a calm and focused persona.

Personality -
General: Calm and focused, Rune is definitely the mature and responsible one of the twins. He is not so much moody, just serious. He is capable of humour and often enjoys having fun with his sister. He keeps quiet, not due to shyness, just because he has little to say to other people. He is always close to his sister, even if she doesn't know, he is watching, worrying about her safety. He also has a habit of being arrogant and conceited.
Strengths: Very focused in what he does. Rune's magic comes naturally and can be quickly summoned.
Weakness: Rune's sister is his main weakness. He would sooner die than see her hurt.
Likes: Reading through spell books and adding to his techniques. He is fond of the colour blue and enjoys eating noodles.

History: Rune was born 9 minutes before his sister, in the quiet little village of Matsuyama, Japan. Their father was a business man, and by the time they had turned two years old, they had been forced to move. Now living in Colorado, USA, they lived happily. The father went to work everyday, while their mother stayed home, teaching them basic English ready for when they went to school. Unfortunately, that all changed. One fateful night, when they were aged five, their quiet home was robbed in the dead of night. The robbers barged into the Hiwominai home, demanding any valuables and money that they had. Garyou and Aoiro refused them and were bound together in the living room. The robbers looted the house, finding the two siblings cowering together in their bedroom closet. Kanmuri was dragged away by the robber who found them, Rune left reaching for his sister, a second masked man grabbing his hair and dragging him along too. Rune saw his parents bound to chairs in the living room and called out to them. The two siblings were dragged out into the yard, a gun pointed at their heads. The robbers exited the house, setting it alight. Rune shielded his sister from seeing, protecting her from the horror. The robbers just laughed, interrupted only by the sound of sirens, speeding towards them. They left the pair, crying on the lawn as they made their get away before the police arrived. Rune and Kanmuri were put into care. Fostered by the Sodatenooya Family, an Asian family of martial arts instructors. Although they were both taught the ways of combat, Rune shied away, preferring to read books on the magic arts. Through hard work and practice, he quickly learned to control and manipulate different things, although he concealed it from his new family and even his sister, until Kanmuri found out one night when they were 12. Everything was fine. Rune continued his training, and sometimes him and his sister would practice together. Then one day, everything changed. Rune and his foster father got in a fight. Rune lost control and unleashed his magic, which up till then his new parents didn't even know he had. He was sorry, but they didn't listen. With that, they started to make preparations for him to go away to an academy. Kanmuri demanded she be allowed to go with her brother, so the pair left their foster parents, applying for a place together in the academy.
