Raise you hand if you thought this was a stupid film when you first heard the title? I myself thought it was just based of the life of JKork. Anyways, what it turned out to be was probably the funniest film of the year. It stars Steve Carell as Andy Stitzer, a nerdy guy that works as a invoice stamper at an electronic store. Things are going okay for him in life until his most shameful secret of never having sex is revealed at work and is out of control. Andy also has just met the girl(Catherine Keener) of his dreams. The only problem is that he doesn't know how to tell her his big secret, so he convinces her to start there relationship on a no-sex basis. This film also stars Paul Rudd, Romany Malco, and Elizabeth Banks. This is the suprise hit of the year. It isn't a gross-out comedy like some may think, but has rather a sweet, fun comedic style to it. Carell is outstanding in the film and the supporting cast is good as well. |
