I didn't know much about this film before I saw it other than the fact it was a movie. Now after seeing this film, I now know it is a great movie. It stars Philip Seymour Hoffman and Ethan Hawke as Andy and Hank, two brothers both struggling for money and a new start on life, that they decide there only hope is to rob their parents jewelry store. When the robbery goes horrible wrong, their lives on the verge off becoming a shattering mess. This film also stars Albert Finney, Michael Shannon, and Marisa Tomei.This is a great film. I liked the format the film takes. We begin the film with the botched robbery and that see the characters lives before and after the robbery. The format is put together well. The acting is also good. Hoffman, Hawke, Finney, and Tomei are all good. This is just a great piece of work. |
