Dante Hicks(Brian O'Halloran) and Randle Graves(Jeff Anderson) are back again for a sequel to director Kevin Smith's cult classic Clerks. This time around the clerks work at a fast food resturaunt after their quik mart burns down. Its also Dante's last day at the resturaunt as he is engaged and plans to move to Florida and get married. Randle isn't thrilled about it, but plans to through a bachelor party. Lets not forget that Jay(Jason Mewes) and Silent Bob(Kevin Smith) are back again and hanging out in front of the resturaunt building. Trever Fehrman, Rachel Larrett, and Rosario Dawson also star. This film is filled with very good and funny dialogue. I especially enjoyed the debate on whether the Lord of the Rings Trilogy is better then the Star Wars series. The acting in this film is also good, expecially Rosario Dawson who is wonderful in her role. The only problems with the film are the few unfunny moments that drag on such as the bachelor party. That could have been cut significantly. Other than that this film is a fitting sequel to the funny predecesor. |
