Elf
	Nobody could pull of a film like this, but Will Ferrell. Ferrell is genius when it comes to pulling off wacky comedy. He stars in this film by director John Favreau as Buddy the elf. Buddy was born human, but became a elf through strange instances when he was a baby. Now a young man, Buddy has found out from Papa Elf(Bob Newhart) that he is actually human and sets out on a journey to New York City to find his true roots. James Caan, Mary Steenburgen, and Zooey Deschanel also star. Elf is a instant Christmas classic. It's one of those enjoyable holiday films that leaves you with a smile on your face. My biggest problem was that I couldn't figure out what was more funny. The scene in the film where the talking whale appears or the old lady in the front row with the high pitch George McFly style laugh.
