This film stars Nicolas Cage as Johnny Blaze, a stunt motorcyclist who gives up his soul to the devil, to save his fathers like, or so he thinks. He eventually becames a vigilante who battles the devils son. This film also stars Peter Fonda and Eva Mendes. This film is literally a mess. Nicolas Cage seems depressed the whole time and who wouldn't be if they starred in this film. Peter Fonda looked like he was trying hard not to be on camera. Eva Mendes just plain looked confused, yet hot as usual. In this film we find out that their is actually another ghost rider who is still alive. Why would the devil need Blaze to become a ghost rider if their already is one? Also the ending of this film is terrible. The final battle is nothing. Then on top of that, Blaze chooses to keep his curse of the ghost rider, which basically prevents him from possibly having a relationship with Eva Mendes character, when he is offered his soul back. Why would you choose a curse of a hot girl? That make no sense at all and either does this movie. |
