This movie stars Clive Owen as the legendary King Arthur, a king who unites the British Isles with his concept of the round table of knights in hope of restoring the fallen Roman Empire that has caused years of territoral battle. The film also stars Keira Knightly, Steven Dillane, Hugh Dancy, and Loan Gruffudd. Take decent acting with a simple plot and the end result is something such as this film. This film lacks in story depth. We never get the full purpose as to what the bad guys are fighting for in this film. Yet, where this film fails in story, it makes up in battle scenes. I really liked the battle sequence that takes place over a frozen river. This isn't a great film, but is still fun to watch.. |
