This film stars Orlando Bloom as Balian, a blacksmith who travels to Jerusalem in the 12th century and soon finds himself the leader of the city in a battle against great odds. Liam Neeson, Martin Hancock, Micheal Sheen, Natalie Cox, and Eva Green star in this film. Director Ridley Scott has a talent for battle scenes. The final battle is shot very well. The films main flaw is the narrative. It takes a while to get in the film and even at that time you still don't fully understand what is going on. However, the performances are good and the battle scenes are good which make this still a decent movie. |
