Michael Clayton
George Clooney stars as Michael Clayton, a "fixer" for a corporate law firm called Kenner, Bach, & Ledeen's. When his law firm picks up its most big cause helping settle a multi-million dollar settlement for U/North, he works to make it come to a successful conclusion. However, when a attorney from the firm named Arthur(Tom Wilkinson) sabatages the settlement, Clayton comes face to face with the biggest challenge of his life. This film also stars Michael O'Keefe, Sydney Pollack, and Tilda Swinton. This is one of those films that you have to pay close attention to. It is very confusing expecially towards the beginning, however, if you stick with it, it will come together at the end. Clooney shines as Clayton in this film turning in one his best performances. I also liked the supporting role of Wilkinson. The one problem I have with the film is I wished we would have known a little more about the lawsuit itself and a little more about U/North. Other then that this was a great film.
