This new film tries to be an updated version of Clueless. Though this teenage film is not nearly as good as that film, it is still a fun film. It stars Lindsey Lohan as Cady Heron, a teenager who spent her first 15 years growing up in Africa, is now going to a real school for the first time ever. At her new school she encounters a group of cruel, yet popular girls called "The Plastics." She has an immediate impact on then and they invite her to join her group. Cady does so in a attempt to find out what these girls are really like. This movie also stars Tina Fay, Tim Meadows, Lacey Chabert, Rachel McAdams, and Amanda Seyfried. Tina Fey wrote this film and did a fine job with the dialog. This film has an end isn't all that believable, but thanks to some hilarious parts(such as a white fat guy singing Christina Aguilera's Beautiful for a school talent show) that give this film enough to make it fun. |
