This is what I call a feel good movie. It isn't made to win any awards. It is simply made to entertain people for an hour and a half. It is of course the sequel to Meet The Parents. Now two years later, Greg(Ben Stiller) and Pam(Teri Polo) are still engaged, but have not set a wedding date. That is because Pam's parents Jack(Robert De Niro) and Dina(Blythe Danner) insist on meeting Gregs parents. So they take a good old road trip to meet them. Gregs parents Bernie(Dustin Hoffman) and Roz(Barbara Streisand) are just a little different then Pam's parents and things get out hand when the meet. Greg and Pam then desperately try to keep things together. De Niro once again does well with his role and Stiller is funny as well. This movie isn't not as good as its predecesor, but still has enough laughs to make it work. |
