Nicole Kidman stars as Ada, a struggling women trying to keep her late fathers farm alive along with the help of a young drifter Ruby(Rene Zellwegger). Meanwhile Ada's sweethart Inman(Jude Law) is on a long journey back to her after fighting in the Civil War as a confederate soldier. Brendan Gleeson, Donald Sutherland, and Natalie Portman also star. Cold Mountain is filled with great acting. Kidman and Zellwegger have a wonderful on screen chemistry that just makes this film work. I really enjoyed this movie. |
