Jodie Foster is one of the best actresses today and she lives up to her hype in this film. She stars as Erica Bain, a radio show host, whose life is turned upside down when her fiance(Naveen Andrews) is brutually beaten to death in front of her very eyes. She then has to live in fear and looks for revenge. She then sets out on a rampage to find it. Terrance Howard, Nicky Katt, and Mary Steenburgen also star. This film wouldn't be that good if the title role isn't in the actress hands. Foster is excellent in this film and carries the film on her shoulders. This isn't a great film, but is still worth a look. |
