The Pursuit of Happyness
Will Smith stars as Chris Gardner, a struggling salesman, whose in dire need of a break. He invested all his money in to bone density scanners which he comes to find are little needed by doctors. His wife Linda(Thandie Newton), works double shifts to just to help her family get by. Chris then decides to enter a internship program with Dean Witter company. It's an extremely tough internship program where 20 applicants compete for one job. While in the unpaid program, Chris's wife leaves him, and he left scrapping for any money he can find to support him and his son Christopher(Jaden Smith). This film is slightly long and a little boring towards the end, but it still is good. Will Smith gives his best performance to date in this film and proves he is ready for big time stardom. I like the idea of having his son in the film as the chemistry between the to work well.
