Resident Evil: Extinction
The third installement in this popular movie series based on the video game, picks up where the last film left off. The t-virus that caused almost all citizens of Racoon City in the first film to become zombies has spread throughout the U.S. now and the world. Humans are almost extinct. Milla Jovovich returns as Alice, a former test subject of the the Umbrella Corporation who is on her own now and until she meets a traveling group of survivors let by Claire Redfield(Ali Larter) who desperately look to find a safe place to live. Meanwhile the Umbrella Corporation is still looking to find a cure for the T-Virus and feel that Alice's blood is the key. This film also stars Oded Fehr,  Lain Glen, and Ashanti. This film is suprisingly the best in the series, yet its not quite worthy of a recommendation. There is some great action sequences in the film and I like the run down Las Vegas setting. However, I will never understand why the Umbrella Corporation doesn't just ask for Alice's blood, rather then have to kill her and other survivors to get it. It just doesn't make sense and brings the film down.
