When you like of a Wes Craven film, you think of a horror film. However, this new film is more off a thriller and more of a direction I think Craven should go. It stars the lovely Rachel McAdams as Lisa Reisert, a hotel manager who is on her way back home from her grandmother's funeral. While on flight she is taken hostage on and airplane by Jackson Rippner(Cillian Murphy). Rippner tells her that she most make a call to her hotel to move the deputy secretary of homeland secret to another room or her father will be killed. Lisa has no where to run and no one to tell. The plot of this film is interesting. I like the idea of someone being held hostage on a plane and having nowhere to run. McAdams is very good in this film. The only thing I did not like about the film was the ending. It's like we went from a thriller to a slasher movie. Nonetheless, this was a good film. |
