Sin City stars a cast of well known actors such as Bruce Willis, Clive Owen, Josh Harnett, Rosario Dawson, Britney Murphy, & Jessica Alba. The film is based on the writings of Frank Miller and combines three stories into. The first being about a cop who's soul purpose is to ensure the safety of a young lady. The second, a tough guy meets the girl of his dreams who is then murdered and he goes out to find her killer. The third, a guy who protects the Old Towne Girls. Each story is unique and well done. The film is shot in black and white to create a dark atmosphere. There are a few colors shown in the film which are used for blood and to depict certain character traits. I felt that the directing style was genius. The whole film was genius. This is the first great film of the year. |
