This new British comedy stars Simon Pegg as Shaun, a TV store manager who has no direction in his life right now. His girlfriend Liz(Kate Ashfield) is angry with him for taking her to the same bar night after night and he spends more time hanging with his pals then her. Shaun's life is so incredibly dull that he doesn't even realize that the city of London is crawling with zombies. Soon Shaun realizes that he loves his girlfriend and decides to save her as well as his mum(Nicola Cunningham) before the zombies get to them. This film also stars Dylan Moran, Nick Frost, & Lucy Davis II. Yes, the plot seems ridicoulous, but the film very clever. Zombies are not much of a character. This makes fun of how stupid they are and it works. It works very well. The script is good and cast is good as well. The film does fall apart slightly in the second half when we have to find a solution to take out the zombies, but is still a very fun film. |
