The Sentinel
Special Agent Pete Garrison(Michael Douglas) is regarded as one of the best secret service agents of all-time. However, things turn sour when a White House agent is murdered and he is framed for it because of a affair he is having with the First Lady(Kim Basinger). He is then relieved of his duties and that has no choice but to try and clear his name and in the process realizes he has to save the President(David Rasche) as well. The film also stars Kiefer Sutherland and Eva Longoria. There is nothing overly spectacular about this film. The acting is good. The script is decent, but does lack a less the average payoff at the end. I was expecting to be more suprised then I was. Yet, Douglas does carry the film well and it works.
