Stardust is a fairytale film that stars Charile Cox as Tristan, a young man who is one of two guys who are trying to win the heart of the beautiful young women named Victoria(Sienna Miller). When the two witness a falling star, Tristan promies to prove his love to Victoria by bring the star back to her. Tristan then crosses a ancient wall that brings him into a magical land. He then goes on the journey of a lifetime. This film also stars Michelle Pfieffer, Claire Danes, and Robert De Niro. This film reminds me of The Princess Bride. Though not quite as good, its hard to beat a film with Andre The Giant in it, the uses the same type of heart-warming storytelling and it flows wonderfully. The acting is great. The plot is simple and fun. Other then the fact it is predictable in a number of areas, this is a great film. |
