This film stars Jason Patrick and Billy Bob Thornton as leaders of a group of Texan and Tejano men whose mission is to to stand guard of the Alamo against mexican troops headed up by Santa Ana(Emilo Echevarria). Dennis Quaid and William Travis also star. Thorton does an excellent job in this film portraying Davy Crockett. This film will most likely be the best film I won't give a recommendation to this year. It just was too long. It seemed like it took to long to get to the battle scene and that really took away some of the suspense in the film as well. Still the film wasn't decent. |
