This film stars Shauna MacDonald as Sarah, struggling to get her life back together a year after a tragic car accident, joins friends on a caving expedition. Things seem to be going well for the explorers until a small avalanche traps them and they have to struggle to find a way out. Not to mention they are being hunted by a mysterious predators. This film also stars Alex Reid, Saskia Mulder, MyAnna Buring, Nora_Jane Noon, and Natalie Jackson Mendoza. This film is a good example off what film critics call the 180 effect. This is where the first half of the film is good, and it was, and then things take a turn for the worse. Suddenly one of the characters announces that this is not the original cave they were suppose to explore, but one that has never been officially explored. Then we have a character that think she sees light and takes off 90 miles an hour through a dark cave only to break her leg after a hard fall. Then one of the characters takes out a few of the mysterious creatures and is then snuck up on from one of her friends who she accidentaly stabs with a knife thinking she was a creature. I think you get the point. The film basically just went on with pointless moments. This was simply a good film, that just went down the wrong path. |
