The big cast of thiefs are back again in this second sequel to the 2001 hit. This time around the group is back in Las Vegas. Fellow member Reuben Tishkoff (Elliot Gould) suffers a heart attack after being cut out on a deal for a hotel helped build. The group of thiefs then set up a plan to get revenge. This film stars George Clooney, Brad Pitt, Matt Damon, Bernie Mac, Don Cheadle, Carl Reiner, Andy Garcia, and Al Pacino. This movie is fun, simply because the cast has fun. You can tell when you watch this film that every actor is enjoying being in the film. I liked the build up to the heist and I enjoyed the big heist itself. I do wish Pacino would have been a little more badass with his character. I just didn't feel like he played the villain role as well as he could off. I also would have like to have seen something happen to complicate the heist. Not once did the film try and make you think that the characters were in any danger. Other then that this film was a good heist movie. |
