Hottie, Kate Bosworth star as Anne Marie in this new moving about making it big as a surf star. Anne lives with her two best friends and her rebellious young sister. She dreams of winning the Pipe Masters and becoming a big surf star. She also works as a hotel maid. One day she runs into a football star named Matt Tollman(Matthew Davis) at the hotel. She falls in love with him and starts drifting away from her dreams, but then finds her way back to the waves. The plot of this movie is simple, and used before. How often are we told of a someone trying to reach a dream and then having to go through obstacles to get there. This plot and story made this film very boring. Also, the ending kind was not good. The film seemed unfinished. Yet, the cimetography for this movie is great. The surf sequences are remarkable. The chicks in the film are also hot. Kate Bosworth is fine. Yet, something just seemed to be missing from this film and keeping it from a recommondation. |
