Paul Walker stars as Joey Gazelle, a mob flunkie whose job is to dispose guns used in mob killings. Instead of disposing them though, he hides them in his wall in the basement. When his son's friend Oleg(Cameron Bright), takes one of the guns to shoot his abusive stepfather and then takes off with it, Joey must find Oleg and the gun before it winds up in the wrong hands. This movie also stars Vera Farmiga. I don't no exactly what the script writers for this film were thinking. Every few words spoken by and actor is a swear word. I don't think a script like that is going to win any oscars. The plot of this film doesn't make much sense. If you are stashing important guns in you basement, why not put them in a safe. That pretty much would have avoided the entire film. The acting in this film is good, but the script and the plot just bring it down terribly. |
