Dr. Lawrence Gordon(Cary Elwes) and Andrew(Leigh Whannell) wake up in secret rundown room with one of there legs tied to a pipe. They soon realize they are in the middle of a game set up by a serial killer named "Jigsaw." The two guys must work together to escape. The film also stars Danny Glover, Ken Leung, and Diane Meyer. The only thing I liked about this film was the plot. I have never seen a movie like this before where a serial killer plays these kind of games before and I hope to never see one again if it goes down hill like this one. I enjoyed the first half of the film, but that a took a turn for the worse. I started getting tired off all the flashbacks and become confused as to what was really happening in the present. I also didn't like how every character suddenly become psychotic. It was almost as if every character could have been the serial killer. Do we really need to see a guy saw his foot off? Expecially when he could have just used the saw to get a certain cell phone to see if his wife was okay. You have to see the film to understand those lines. If you haven't all ready see it, be happy and save your money. |
