Cal sat on the metro and sighed.  He really had been great in bed.

Her cell phone rang suddenly.  "Allo?"  She answered.

"It's me.  You're finished there.  Get ready to leave."

"What?!"

"You're done in Paris, get ready to leave.”

"No I'm not!"

"You're done, Agent Johnson."

"What's wrong?"  She stated.

"You need to come back."

"Why?  Is it because I found someone here that I really like?"

"Because you were given an order, how's that?"

"Fuck you."

"You come back here or face the penalty for insubordination."

"Fine."  She whispered, hanging up.  She then called James.

James got it.  "Hello?"

Cal started to cry.  "They...they fired me..."

"What??"

"I...I got fired and..."

"Well then screw them!  Leave!  Go into acting!"

"I'm leaving France."

"Why?"

"I cannot stay here.  I'm going to Russia..."

"Listen, don't... stay with me."

"What?"

"Screw them, they don't matter.  Stay with me.  I love you."

Cal blinked.  "You..."  She stepped off at the next stop.  "You what?"

"I love you," he repeated.

"Au revoir mon amour.  Mon coeur est toujours avec toi."  She whispered and then hung up, real tears now falling.

James hung up the phone and sighed.  "Fucking shit."  He called Garrett.

"Yeah?"  Garrett answered.

Cal went to the airport and found a ticket already waiting for her.

"Yeah, Callahan's called her back.  Apparently he didn't like her cozying up to others."

"Shit."

"I gave pretty much everything up to try to make her stay.  No good."

"Luckily you don't actually have feelings for her."

"Yeah.  Good thing."  James bit his lip.

"We'll think of something.  You tried.  Don't worry."

"Shall I head back?"

"Yeah."  Garrett sighed and laid his head on his desk.  Lovely.  Just lovely.  Sighing, he stood and went upstairs to find Cass.

She was out on the balcony, which was hidden from passersby quite nicely, resting on her stomach and sunbathing topless.  "I like Paris," she told him as he stepped out onto the balcony.

"I like you."  He smiled.  "Damn...hell."

"You'd come looking for me a minute and a half ago and I was lying on my back."

"That's...really not fair."

"Sorry, handsome."

"Cal's gone.  We failed."

"No, you succeeded well.  He's being jealous and guarding.  You'll get another shot at her."

"I'm fucking pissed."

"Come here, see if I can't help," she soothed, sitting up to face him.

"Damn..."  He whispered.

"You've seen 'em before, come over here."

Garrett did so.

She played with his hair and kissed him firmly.  "It's okay, baby.  You'll get another chance."

"I just...I feel like a failure now."

"Don't.  Just consider it a successful stage one."

"Yeah… I guess so."

"What the fuck is your problem?!"

"You need to take your assignment more seriously."

"I was!"

"You're mine, damnit, I'm not going to share you with some fucking executive fudgepacker!"  Aidan finally spat out.

Cal reeled back.  "I'm what?"  She whispered.

"Mine!"

"Since when?!'

"Since I decided you were!"

Cal almost laughed out loud.

"What's the matter with you now?"

"What if I don't want to be yours?"

"Then it sucks to be you!"

Cal glared at him.

"What?!?"

"I hate you."

Aidan grabbed her and kissed her firmly.

Cal struggled but then kissed him back.

"You don't hate me."

"No… I don't."

Aidan simply smiled.

"I'm sorry."

"It's forgiven."

"Take me."

Aidan picked her up and carried her to bed.
