Quebec and Brampton played a virtual game by itself in the 1st inning as the Blazers responded with four runs after Les Rebelles had scored three of their own.  Brampton went on to score another two runs each in the 3rd and 6th innings to win 8 - 3 over Quebec.  An RBI single by shortstop Noemie Marin and Marie-Pierre Huot's two RBI single gave Quebec an early 3 - 0 lead.  The Blazers wasted little time generating their own offensive attack in the 1st inning with right fielder Maree Ross delivering a key two run single.  Cambria McKay's two run homer in the 6th secured the game for Brampton.  Cindy Eadie, Tiffany Patteson, Hailey Clark and Holly Anstett continued their hitting prowess with each player producing a multiple hit game.  Huot with three hits and centre fielder Angie Belmonte with two, led Les Rebelles.

The Oakeys of Burnaby served notice that they are serious threats to defend their title as Canadian Champions as they defeated Whitby 7 - 0 in a five inning mercy game.  Marlee Johnson was in complete control allowing three hits and two walks while fanning nine Eagle batters.  No Whitby base runner advanced past 2nd base.  Alisia Narodowski scored Burnaby's 1st run on Shanel Garofalo's double.  Burnaby added two runs in the 2nd inning and closed the game with four runs in the fifth.  Narodowski and Garofalo had two hits each, while Erin Thomas and Katie Prysunka drove in two runs apiece.  Burnaby will advance to meet the winner of Brampton and Guelph.  Whitby now has one life and will play against the winner of Quebec and White Rock

The second semi-final of the night featured Ontario provincial rivals, Brampton and Guelph.  The Gators started quickly scoring three runs in the first inning on Melissa Finley's two run home run and Caitlin Warren's one run home run.  Ruth Yzerman drove in two runs with a triple and then scored herself as the Gators added another three runs in the fourth inning.  The Blazers broke the shutout when left fielder Hailey Clark's single drove home Tiffany Patteson.  Sabrina Snow threw a complete game five-hitter to register the pitching win.  Ashleigh Leon  went four for four and scored two runs for the Gators, while Finley and Warren had two hits each.  Clark of the Blazers had two hits in a losing cause.
