Tara Hrycuik kept the Bluebird attack to 4 hits and 1 run while striking out 10 batters. Meaghan Loster and Hrycuik each had two hits and two RBI, while Janelle Woytowich added to singles. Tami Duhaime paced the Bluebirds with two hits in a losing cause.

The Burnaby Oakeys scored four runs in the 7th inning to complete a come from behind win over the Regina Panthers. Panther pitcher Daina Haubrich kept the Oakeys at bay for six innings scattering six hits and allowing just one run. Erin Thomas came into the game in the 6th inning and retired four consecutive batters to record the win. Thomas had two key hits to drive in three runs, while left fielder Cari Irwin contributed three base hits for the Oakeys. Jody Wolbaum with three hits and Mandy Gullickson with two paced the Panther attack.
