        The "Last Train to Boston" Marathon is a low-key race started in 1977 by the  Renaissance All Sports Athletic Club (RASAC) to give Marathon runners a last chance at qualifying for the famed Boston Marathon held on Patriot's Day on the 3rd Monday in April..  The race has evolved over the years to accommodate runners of all abilities and ages -  newcomers and veterans.  The race has been held every year since its inception except 1985 and 1997-1999.

The February 2002 Race was  CANCELLED!! due to
heightened security at Aberdeen Proving Ground since 9/11.     We're still hoping to get permission for 2003.  If we do,  the race most likely will be in April or May 03.
