Born on a cold winter night, the night before Valintine’s day, a child was brought to the world.  He was named James Mcdowall Kemer II, after his father.  James was first exposed to music on the school bus to kindergarden, where the bus driver had a the popular music of that time blaring on the radio. When James was in second grade, his dad bought a new keyboard.  James would play on that key board composing his own music, and playing songs off the radio by ear.  He took piano lessons for two years, then quit, then decided to continue to teach himself.  Throughout middle school, James was amazed by his older cousin, who was graduating highschool at the time.  His cousin was a crisp guitar player, and made James want to be able to play too.  It would be a good 3 years until James would pick up the guitar.  When James’ sister’s boyfriend was trying to get rid of his guitar, James was there first to pick it up.  He bought it joined the all ready up and running band Next in Line (which later became Last in Line), and improved his skills with them.  Today, James does vocals and exchanges lead guitar duties with Geoff.  Jameswill be writting a portion of the songs for the first album, as well as Geoff.  “Wake Up” an acoustic ballad , which James first played at a cancer relay for life, became an instant hit for friends and fellow volunteers.  It got 2 or 3 angry though.
