More detail in this section coming soon...
-New "Talking Lady" | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Chassis Wiring Harness: -Custom Wiring |
|||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
A microcontroller hidden under the dash will accept inputs from various switches in the car, such as seat belts and dome light door switches, and give an appropriate verbal warning through the speaker system until the switch condition has been satisfied. The older "talking ladies" from the later 280zx ran off of a mechanical system, incorporating a tiny record and a "smart" stylus that played specific tracks when switch conditions were not satisfied. These tended to wear out over time, slowly making the "lady" lose it's voice.
Completely home-fabricated wiring harness will accept all electronics in a naturally aspirated, carburated engine setup, as well as "factory" chassis electronics such as instruments, lighting, power windows and door locks, so forth and so on. It will also incorporate an alarm system and the system that takes the place of the retro "talking lady".

Interior Lighting: | |||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
2 custom kick panel boxes for front-cab sound image quality, 2 speaker sets total to completely surround the cabin and add highs. I'd like to go with some Memphis 5 1/2" or 6" co-axial speakers... they sound awesome in my truck. |

The interior lights will match up with the interior panel accent colors, a nice blue =). I would like to also include blue bulbs in the dash for the gauges. Blue lighting in cars is actually illegal in my part of town (and probably everywhere else), but being courtesy lights, they won't even be on unless the door is open. I have an '88 Mercury Cougar with this exact setup, and I must say, it looks great.
-Custom seamless interior box
This will appear to be part of the interior, containing two 10" subs and an amp on the back side. The component speakers' amp will also be mounted here. Check out the box.
