The interior panels are almost done. They're being changed from the faded stock navy blue to black with brilliant blue highlights. The twin 10" speaker box is built, and set into place behind the seats, although there are still pieces to be added for a transitioning effect. There was a large metal enclosure where this box now sits, giving a sloping shape from the floorboard to the rear deck. It also had two plastic storage compartments with lids built into it, but they weren't salvagable from a previous owner's "speaker installation", so, out came the whole enclosure. I still have to get a dash cover to change the color of the dash, as well as run new wires to give life to the old electrical system, so until that is finished, the panels can't be reinstalled. |
