Text Box: “Puttin On the Glitz ( Continued from page 2) A little refreshed both physically and in makeup it was time to leave for the dinner and a night of entertainment. The catered dinner was delicious and the other guests at our table were fun and interesting. The conversation making the meal a pleasant time. The entertainment was provide by Grand Canyon Men’s Chorale. They provided a little and very entertaining melody of songs from the 40’s thru the present. The fact that a few of the chorale members were also in drag wearing clothing of the era some of the tunes were written in, added to the fun of the evening. The evening rounded out with dance music where even this girl got up and enjoyed a couple of twills around the dance floor. The ball that evening as usual was the highlight of the “Puttin on the Glitz” weekend. I am sure it was a wonderful evening for everyone there. Of course being the highlight of the Glitz it was an evening we wished would not come to an end so seeming fast as it did. Yet, when it did end a few weary girls again returned to Joanne’s and a night of pleasant dreams. It was a short night for Debbie, she loves her sleep.
