What is your name? Voi sata et Kamas My name is Kamas Hóretii, Kala Kamas Goodbye, Mr. Kamas Let's break down these phrases and their meanings. Vaahi! This is the standard greeting in Voidä. It is informal. You will learn other greeting later Eevo John. Eevo means "I am" It comes from the pronoun "vo" which means "I" Voi sata et John "Voi" means "my" , notice how it is related to "vo" "Sata" means "name" "et" can mean a number of things. For this lesson, it means "is" Hiis uutisetään Hiis means "how" A lot of question words begin in the letter "h" uutisetään is a verb. It means "you go". Notice how "tään", which means "you", is attached at the end of the verb. This is a key component of the language. The total translation is "how are you going" Eevo henat Again "eevo" means "I am" "Henat" means "healthy" I am healthy = I am fine Hiis täden jähet? For now, just know that täden is a form of "you" jähet is a verb that has an ending attached to it. It means "they call" How do they call you? = What is your name?
