Kaas.  Engelon taipoiv.                                                 Yes.  I speak English

Notes:

1:  The suffix "lakka" is used to show nationality among other things.  It functions like the "er" in "writer".  A vowel "e" is usually put before "lakka".  If there is a vowel at the end of a word already, then drop the vowel and add "e".

2.  Nouns in Voidä must destinguish between what is called the subject of a sentance and the object of the sentance.  To illustrate, read this sentance:
"The dog ate the
bone
In this sentance, the dog is the subject, and the bone is the object, because it is receiving the action of the verb.
Voidä destinguishes this by adding diffrent endings to nouns.  For now, all you need to know, is that nouns in the object form receive an ending "o".
Look at a sentance form the dialogue:
Voido vanta taipottä
In this sentance "you" is the subject.  Voidä is the object because it receives the action of the verb.  Therefore, the "ä" ending has been droped and the "o" added.  If "o" is already there, leave the word alone.
Note, any sentance with any form of the verb to be, i.e. "et", do not need to destinguish object and subject.
Observe that the object comes first in this sentance unlike in english.  In Voidä, the basic rules of word order are as follows, where:
Q-Question word
S-Subject
O-Object
A-Adjective, Adverb
V-Verb
If the sentance is a question sentance then word order is:
Q-S-O,A-V = Ynos auto vänto et?
If the sentance has any form of the verb to be in it and it is not a question sentance:
S-V-O = Et myhat     *This is regular english word order, but only for the verb "to be"
If the sentance has no verb "to be" and it isn't a question sentance:
S-O-V = Takama autod uutiset   (The boy goes to the car)

3.  Verbs are changed by person, i.e. you, I, he, by adding suffixes to the end of the verbs.  Notice:
Taipoiv - I speak
Taipottä - You speak
Both these forms will be listed in the dictionary from now on.  Remember that these are not the only forms, and there may be other ways to write them.  For now memorize all the listed verbs.
You will learn the other forms of verbs later together with aditional information.
