Hi, we're Jon, Wade, and Elsa, three students of Latin at Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas. This web page is a project we put together in our third semester of Latin to display our research on the Roman Art of Bathing. As you'll see, much is culturally different in the bathing styles of the typical American compared to a Roman.

This site includes information on the History of Roman Baths as well as information on the buildings themselves. You'll also find many pictures that have been scanned onto the website for your viewing pleasure. But, in order to give due credit for all of this, we have included a Bibliography in the links below.
