Clash in Papua injures two
Indonesian police have fired warning shots to stop a clash between supporters and
opponents of an elected official in the province of Papua.
The official Antara news agency says the clash broke out at the swearing-in
ceremony of David Hubi as chief of the district of Jayawijaya.
Two people were injured when those backing and opposing his election threw stones
at each other.
The crowd dispersed after extra police and troops arrived at the scene.
