Indonesia confident US will hand over terror suspect Hambali
Indonesia's Foreign Minister, Hassan Wirayuda, says the United States will
"eventually" hand over top terror suspect, Hambali.
Mr Wirayuda says the US needs time to interrogate Hambali.
Hambali, an Indonesian, is believed to be a senior figure in both al-Qaeda and the
Jemaah Islamiyah terror groups.
JI is blamed for last year's Bali bombings, which killed 202 people, and a string of
other attacks.
Hambali was arrested in Thailand in August and is now in US custody at an
undisclosed location.
Indonesia has asked he be handed over for trial.
Many of the attacks which Hambali is accused of masterminding were committed in
Indonesia.
