2001 - Present. Lecturer at University of Pelita Harapan Jakarta, Indonesia. Subjects of
teaching; Mechatronics, Robotics, CNC, Automation, Industrial Control System.
November 2001 Awarded Master Degree (by research) in Mechanical Engineering
from Curtin University of Technology, Perth - Western Australia. Master thesis titled
"The Minimization of Electricity Consumption in Solar Hot Water System by the
Use of Fuzzy Logic Control". Click here for the abstract of the thesis project.
1998 - 2000 Curtin University of Technology, Perth Western Australia. Conducting
the research project on the application of a fuzzy logic controller in minimizing the
electric consumption of Solar Hot Water System (SHWS). The research project
comprised of software and hardware development for a PC-based control application.
The software development consisted of writing the dedicated software for PC based data
acquisition process, utilization of the Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference Systems (ANFIS)
in producing a Fuzzy Inference System (FIS). Controlling and managing the operation of
the instrumentation and data acquisition hardware, interfacing the input-output of the
designed controller using a PC. The hardware development tasks consisted of designing
and constructing the measurement system for the data acquisition and instrumentation
process. The construction tasks also include the installation of sensors, circuit wiring,
sensors calibration, and designing the external switching board units which used by the
PC based controller to operate the SHWS.
1999- 2000 Tutorial Assistant at Department of Mechanical Engineering at Curtin
University of Technology, Perth Western Australia. The Subjects given were
Mechanics 234 (Laboratory Works). Assisting, supervising and evaluating the students
in conducting the laboratory works. Dynamics 232 (Matlab Programming), assisting and
supervising student in using software (Matlab) in relation to the theory of the dynamic
systems.
1997 - 1998 Supervising the thesis project and field works for the last year
students at Pattimura University, Maluku. The field works were held in various marine
industrial organizations such as docks, shipyards, slipways and workshops.
1997-1998 Secretary of the Physics Teaching Team of The Basic Sciences Unit at
Pattimura University, Maluku. Managing and supervising the teaching process of
Physics in the university. The responsibilities included staff allocation, syllabus and
laboratory work assignments.
1996-1998 Technical Supervisor of University Computing Center. Responsibilities
included maintaining the operation of the computer network used for education
purposes. The responsibilities also included the troubleshooting of computer failures.
1995 - 1998 Teaching at Pattimura University, Maluku - Indonesia. The Subjects
taught were Control Systems, Computer Programming (Pascal, Basic), Physics,
Introduction to Electronics & Marine Internal Combustion Engine
September 1993 Awarded Bachelor in Mechanical Engineering Majoring in Marine
Engineering from Pattimura University - Ambon, Indonesia
1990-1991 Field Work in PT Dok Tanjung Priok (Tanjung Priok Shipyard) Jakarta
for Maintenance and Repairing of MaK Diesel Engines (work experience as a last year
student). |
