A Prayer For You

Jesus has been a great source of comfort for me in these past few days which is why I chose this background for the prayer. I understand that there are pagans who do not resonate with Jesus in the same way which I do, but I hope you will find comfort in the prayer below. I altered it slightly to include the Divine (God/dess) rather than just "God" in the Christian sense, the original poem by Ferna Lary is linked to at the bottom.

A Prayer For You

I said a prayer for you today.
I hope you didn't mind.
I asked God/dess to comfort you
and put your tears behind.

I prayed for peace and mercy, too,
to help you through each day,
And for loving guidance
as God/dess leads you on your way.

You need not walk this path alone
so I prayed God/dess hold your hand,
and offer you some guidance
in a way you'll understand.

I asked for little miracles
and to bless you every day.
Keep searching for the Rainbows -
and let God/dess light your way.
