Jordan abolished its Occupied Territories Ministry today in another move to cut ties with the Israeli-occupied West Bank, the Jordan radio said.

Prime Minister Zaid al-Rifai also shuffled his Cabinet, with the Occupied Territories Minister, Marwan Doudin, replacing Rashid Ariqat as Labor Minister. Mr. Ariqat resigned for health reasons, the radio said.

It said the occupied territories would now be dealt with by a Department for Palestinian Affairs under the Foreign Ministry.

The move followed King Hussein's decision, announced last Sunday, to dissolve legal and administrative ties with the West Bank in deference to the Palestine Liberation Organization's demand for an independent Palestinian state.

In the Cabinet change, the Jordan radio said Abdel-Salam Kanan was named head of a newly created Supply Ministry, and Fawaz Toukan was appointed Social Development Minister.

Previously Labor and Social Development were part of the same ministry. Supply was part of the Trade and Industry Ministry.

It was the fourth Cabinet reorganization since Mr. Rifai took office on April 4, 1985.
