Hindsford Bandits 3, Lowton 2
Having not played for a few weekends for various reasons, Hindsford were a little  ring rusty?early on&and Lowton took an early lead after only 3 mins.
A through ball from just inside their own half found a Lowton player looking suspiciously offside, he carried on and scored to make it 1-0 to Lowton.
It could have been 2-0 a minute later but this time the Lowton forward shot wide from a good position.
The Bandits got going and found the equaliser after 7 mins, when Dale Glover and Daniel Banks set up Adam Murphy who excellently chipped the Lowton keeper to score.
Both teams battled to get the upper hand on a pitch that was in superb condition for football.
The nearest to a goal came when a mix up in the Hindsford defence allowed a Lowton shot which hit the post.
Half-time Hindsford Bandits 1, Lowton 1
The Bandits set about the 2nd half a lot better and took the lead after 6 mins when Adam Murphy collected the ball 25 yards out, controlled it well and hit a brilliant shot past the Lowton keeper who had no chance to save it.
Hindsford were now playing well and looked likely to finish the game off.
Daniel Banks had a shot well saved and Matt Langin also came close to scoring as the Bandits looked for a 3rd goal.
The Hindsford defence were coping well against a Lowton team which seemed to have all grown 6 inches since the last time we played them.
Adam Farnworth and Steve Eccles at the centre, winning most headers, and fullbacks Jon Banks and Matt Mcdonald playing a sound game and getting forward when possible.
However Lowton equalised midway through the 2nd half when a cross from the right went right across the penalty area to give the Lowton forward an easy tap in.
It was now game on again, but it was Hindsford who were making most of the chances, despite losing forward Dale Glover to an injury.
Daniel Banks looked like a man on a mission as he worked his socks off to get the winner for Hindsford.
He was desperately unlucky not to get a penalty with 10 mins to go when he stayed upright after being fouled in the Lowton box.
Finally, with only 3 mins left, Adam Murphy and Matt Langin combined well in the Lowton area and Daniel Banks flicked the ball past the Lowton keeper to give the Bandits a 3-2 win.
;A good game to watch, against a Lowton team who always provide good opposition despite their league position
Well refereed by Gary Halliwell.
