Sat.  19th March 2005                    Under 16's Ringley 6, Hindsford Bandit 3
A tough game for the Bandits against league leaders Ringley, and not made any easier due to a number of injuries.
Ringley took the lead after only 5 mins when a long ball caught out the Bandits defence.
The Bandits had a good chance to equalise 2 mins later but unfortunately Dale Glover shot over with only the keeper to beat.
Hindsford then had to use their only sub. When Ryan Jones went off injured.
Ringley immediately made it 2-0 as the Bandits team readjusted.
The game was now even for a while but Hindsford suffered another injury to centre-back Adam Farnworth, but despite having a dodgy ankle, carried on.
Ringley made it 3-0 after 20 mins but the Bandits got back into the game with a great header by Dale Glover from a corner after 22 mins.
Another lapse after 27 mins allowed Ringley to make it 4-1 which was the score at half time.
Half time Ringley 4, Hindsford Bandit 1
A great save by Kenny Dickenson stopped Ringley increasing their lead early in the 2nd half, but he could not do anything to stop Ringley scoring again 5 mins later to make it 5-1.
The Bandits were not giving up and Matt Mcdonald and Jonathon Banks in defence were working very hard to stop the Ringley attacks.
The Bandits got a goal back after 55 mins when a handball by a Ringley defender gave Dale Glover a goal from the penalty spot.
Kris Smith in midfield and Daniel Banks and Dale Glover in attack were trying hard to get another goal back for the Bandits, and they were having possibly their best spell of the game.
Ringley got their best goal of the game after 75 mins but there was still time for Hindsford to grab another one when Daniel Banks was fouled in the penalty area .
Up stepped Dale Glover to convert and make the final score Ringley 6, Hindsford Bandit 3
The game was played in a good sprit and well refereed by Martin Smith.

Sat.  12th March 2005Under 16's Hindley 2, Hindsford Bandit 5
A good win for Hindsford against a Hindley team who battled all the way to the
end.
The first 10 min s were fairly even as both teams tested each other out.
The game was being spoiled slightly by the large number of free kicks, most of
which were going the Bandits way.
After 15 mins from a free kick taken by Steve Eccles, Dale Glover pounced at the
far post to give Hindsford the lead.
The game continued in much the same way and from another free kick after 30 mins
Adam Murphy made it 2-0 to the Bandits with a similar goal at the far post.
After 35 mins Hindley pulled a goal back after being awarded a penalty after a
trip in the area.
Half-time Hindley 1, Hindsford Bandits 2
In the first 5 mins of the 2nd half Daniel Banks twice almost increased
Hindsfords lead but the Hindley keeper made good saves to deny him.
Hindley were becoming increasingly frustrated, as their approach to the game
continued to provide the Bandits with numerous free kicks.
However it was from a great passing move involving Dale Glover and Adam Murphy
that Daniel Banks made it 3-1 to the Bandits after 55 mins.
A minute later Kenny Dickenson had to made a great save for Hindsford as Hindley
tried to hit back.
With no subsitutes available, due to injuries, Hindsford might have started to
tire, but in fact they looked strong and were trying to play some good football
when possible.
As in the first half there were frequent free kicks, again generally going in
the Bandits favour, and after 69 mins a free kick from Adam Murphy was superbly
controlled by Matt Mcdonald, who set up Daniel Banks to make it 4 - 1 to the
Bandits.
Hindley got another penalty, for a push in the box,and pulled agoal back in the
71st minute.
A tackle on Jonathan Banks earned one of the Hindley players a yellow card after
more frustration crept in, but the Bandits had the final say in the game when
Daniel Banks completed his hat trick with 5 mins to go, to complete the
scoring.
A well deserved win for Hindsford who tried to play football throughout and kept
their disipline well.
Well refereed by Dave Renshaw.
