Match Comment: Not a lot can be said for this game with a score line like that. Standish keeper Ben Price let in a few howlers, however, by the same token he made some great saves, unlucky Ben. Ringley went in only 2 - 0 up at half time. I must admit, and a bit of a grip, we all though their first goal was off side.
The second half started not as well for Standish as Ringley added their third goal soon into the half, however, Standish opened a little chink of light with a well worked move down the right, a great cross from David Aspinall and a well taken goal by MoMCallumSutch, 3 - 1 Ringley. The problem was this only fuelled more effort from Ringley who rained shot after shot and with Standish legs tired again, must be all that "shandy" from the night before, Ringley just started to run through at will. Final score Ringley 9 Standish 1.
