Fixture: Ringley Rangers 2 v Standish 0 Cup Semi Final MOM: Callum Sutch
Match Comment: Great game to watch and good football played by both teams. The first real chance of the game came to Standish with a well volleyed shot by Chris Ochwat in the 12 minute which was dipping over the keeper, however, it dipped the wrong side of the cross bar. Deadlock was finally broken with a mistake in the Standish defence which allowed Ringley to score in the 27th minute. Standish responded well with various attacks and Callum Sutch came close with a volley just wide of the left hand post, 1 - 0 half time Ringley
Second half started with a disaster for Standish when one of the defenders missed kicked at the ball allowing Ringley to break on goal and score, 2 - 0 Ringley. This was very much an open game and Ringley were still being pressed by Standish. Some great left foot volley shots came in from Chris Ochwat and David Johnson and Standish can feel proud of themselves for contributing to a great semi final, final score. Ringley Rangers 2 - Standish 0.
