Fixture:    Standish 1 v Ringley Rangers 7 MOM:   Robert Smith
Match Comment: What a different team effort from the last match played by Standish, although the score line does not indicate this. Form team Ringley were pushed to stay in this game in the first half with a very creditable performance by Standish and fully deserved to get to half tome 0 - 0.
However, the second half started badly for Standish with an early goal by Ringley from a defensive mistake took Ringley into the lead 1 - 0. However, Standish still did not lie down and forced a corner soon after which Dean Lefeuvre converted with a well taken header 1 - 1. Unfortunately this parity did not last for long and Ringley started their goal scoring tally with a second goal soon after this and carried on scoring with the final score 7 - 1 to Ringley Rangers.
