gazelle by carpaneda

Brazilian sculptor Fernando Carpaneda who is based in New York City, has created the second piece of a 10 piece Freak Chic collection he intends to do in the next 2 years. I was very honored to be immortalized by him with this 4"x10" sculpture that captures the physical essence and unique spirit of my persona Gazelle. Carpaneda dressed the sculpture with an antique dress with ostrich feathers. He added the final touch with a purse with an image (got gazelle?) created by web designer Bridgette Bad.       Fernando Carpaneda is featured in the soon to be released(October 20th) book "Treasures of Gay Art" from The Leslie/Lohman Gay Art Foundation together with artists like Andy Warhol, Keith Haring, Tom of Finland, Jean Cocteau... among so many other brilliant minds of our time.       The first piece of his Freak Chic collection was also a Brazilian personality: Alisson Gothz www.oocities.org/newfreaks/gothz5.html
